For those thinking of visiting Bovy, I thoroughly recommend it. Name me one other museum in the world that has two King Tigers and a Jagdtiger!

If you don't get time before Saturday, why not pop in on the Sunday?

You'll have to go slightly inland, but not too far.

That other place I looked at for liners (recommended by Yith) - they never even replied to my email or answered the phone! Do these people not want the trade?

Is this for the MP lids, Martin? How easy would it be to transfer the liners from other shells?

No. the MP lids came to nowt as painting decent hoops on them was beyond my abilities. I wanted them for the 2 noobs who are coming with me - both have the same headsize as I do. I'm considering putting nets on a couple of plastic ones instead.

It looks like Sandy's got one or two MkIIs, which don't appear to have been spoken for.

I can raise 3 mkII's if I don't keep one in reserve for myself, all approximately size 58's

This weekend is approaching with equal amounts of excitement & dread, I have had to sell my soul to participate in Il Giogo.
Friday night I have to take part in a Zumba 'open evening' at the zumba class my wife goes to. Saturday I have had to do a duty swap so that I can take the day off.
Saturday night I have to go out to dinner at one of wifey's friends and Sunday it's back on duty....
Still it's gonna be GREAT!
See you Saturday morning :happydance:

Mine's still not registering. I've got another first rehearsal with a new drummer (we've gone through more than Spinal Tap), which is preoccupying my mind.

However, I have made 2 repro 1940s clipboards today. :D
